BEWARE!!!BEWARE!! YOU WILL NOT BE HEARD!!! Had Sharyn of Melbourne Dyeing restore the leather seats of a 1998 two seater car. As I live in Tasmania I had no opportunity to physically examine the condition of the leather that was supplied by someone from Victoria. Sharyn told me that she would have preferred the leather to have remained on the seats but told me that the leather could be dyed and repaired except for the Alfa Romeo logo.On inspecting the finished work an EXPERIENCED and RESPECTED Tasmanian motor trimmer,with years of experience in the restoration of vintage cars, told me I had WASTED my money ($1600 and freight). He agreed to and did give Sharyn his HONEST opinion. HE TOLD ME THAT Sharyn HUNG UP ON HIM!I tried to phone Sharyn to agree on an amicable resolution. She NEVER answered the phone; and only exchanged messages. She offered to dye a square meter of leather, supplied by me, at no cost. I didn't want to spend more money on material and freight when I could have leather dyed in Tasmania by a local professional. My expectation was that Sharyn of Melbourne would have offered at least a refund of $500 to compensate me for a material that the motor trimmer cannot use; and for the acute distress caused to an octogenarian. So BEWARE! BEWARE! If something goes wrong you will NOT be heard!I sent Sharyn this review before posting. TOTAL SILENCE

Our 11 year old leather lounge suite looks brand new. The service was amazing. Pick up and drop off. A seamless process. Sharyn even gave us some touch up paint if required for the future.And to think we were going to throw out the lounge suite as we thought it was beyond repair. However, upon investigation, the same suite new was around $20k. This prompted seeking other options which is how we came accross Melbourne Dyeing. So happy that we decided to take this option as sustainability is our future.

Our Tessa Leather Chairs (more than 40 years old) recently completed their circuit of family members and were returned to us. Two of the chairs looked a little worse for wear and the third had severely crazed leather, some splits and cat scratches. At best we were hopeful that two chairs could be salvaged. Fortunately I discovered GV Carpet & Leather Restorations.We now have three restored chairs. The restored leather has the appropriate look (a rich black) & feel (soft & supple). Our decision to repair rather than replace has been vindicated. We are very happy with the outcome and wish to congratulate Sharyn and Brandon on a job well done. Sharyn came to my house to tint the leather seats in my BMW 5 series that im restoring and to also repair a small hole in the drivers seat bolstering, to say im happy is an understatement. Sharyn provided exceptional service calmly stepping me through various steps to try and remove a stain from my carpet, during Covid lockdown. Once covid restrictions were lifted Sharyn came to visit to assess my stain and successfully removed a pet urine stain, a carpet burning stain (from baking soda used trying to get another stain out) and also dying the carpet from a pot plant stain. Sharyn came to my apartment today to tint and condition my King sofa. The leather was badly worn and there were some parts that the colour had completely gone back to raw hide. Sharyn was super helpful and honest when it came to my carpet. Previous tenants had bleached nearly the entire house with presumably a chemical that wasn't suited to the carpet, and was straight up about it not being able to be repaired with dyeing alone. Instead she referred me to a Wholesale carpet company to have the carpets replaced.Friendly, honest and very helpful, would highly recommend Sharyn's company.
